SEJEN CI is an Ivoirian startup incorporated on December 29th, 2017, to rapidly establish data science and training capabilities in Côte d’Ivoire via a Data Analytics Center (DAC).
After a competitive bidding process, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) – and in the context of the Data Collaboratives for Local Impact (DCLI) program — awarded SEJEN CI, the sum of up to $1,8m towards the Data Analytics Center (DAC) Project in Côte d’Ivoire
Since 2018 the DAC has supplied data science services and targeted training of direct and peripheral beneficiaries of those services at the national and sub-national levels. Envisioned as a sustainable project, the DAC included the inception of revenue generation capacity and a mandate for service-oriented work in the thematic areas of HIV/AIDS and health, gender equality, economic growth, and education.
Now, SEJEN has entered its sustainability period and its objective is to become recognized as a leader in Digital Transformation services across Africa. Digital transformation is at the core of disruptive advances that affect the way markets, industries, and every segment of society function.
